While retaining strong positions in the world nuclear power engineering, Atomstroyexport manages orders worth more than 4.5 bn.dollars. The company accounts for nearly 20% of the global NPP construction market. Thirty one nuclear power generating units with a total capacity of 15.6 mln.kW have been built abroad by Russian organizations. The company fully complies with the quality assurance requirements of ISO 9001/2000, EUR.

JSC Atomstroyexport (JSC ASE) – is a leading Russian company controlled by Federal Atomic Energy Agency and implementing intergovernmental cooperation agreements in the field of nuclear power use.

The main scope of activity includes construction management of up-to-date nuclear power plants meeting all the international requirements as well as the reconstruction of the earlier-built ones.

JSC ASE promotes the best Russian high-end technologies allowing for the construction of advanced NPPs with reliable safety systems to the world nuclear power market. The vast experience amassed by major Russian design offices and research centers is utilized in the design of the nuclear power plants being built in India, China and Iran.

The company actively participates in international tenders offering its upgraded NPPs with water-moderated water-cooled reactors that have proven their efficiency through nearly 1000 reactor-years of accident-free operation.

The potential of about 300 Russian companies incorporating hundreds of thousands of experts and also the resources of foreign organizations are used in design, equipment manufacture, construction and operation of nuclear facilities.

Atomstroyexport is the only company in the world concurrently constructing five power generating units outside the country with its total share at the global NPP construction market making up around 20 per cent while the received orders amount to 4.5 bn.dollars.

Zarubezhatomenergostroy and TVEL companies own 50.2% of JSC ASE shares (44% and 6.2% respectively), the companies are administered by the Federal Atomic Energy Agency. Gazprombank owns 49.8%.

Export Program

The JSC ASE export program covers the following:

- siting survey;

- design and engineering services;

- manufacture and supply of equipment;

- construction, erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;

- supply of spare parts and maintenance services;

- NPP operation;

- upgrading of existing objects;

- NPP decommissioning;

- personnel training in Russia and in a customer’s country.
