1. Modernization of Kozloduy NPP Units 5 and 6
The execution of design works at Kozloduy NPP Units 5 and 6 as well as equipment deliveries will be continued in April-July 2003. The works under 4 subjects are scheduled to take place at Unit 6 in August-November 2003 according to Kozloduy NPP shutdown schedule.
2. Additional measures for NPP Kozloduy Units 3-6 and articipation in bids.
JSC Atomstroyexport has succeeded in a number of bids invited by Kozloduy NPP with respect to supply of equipment and rendering advisory services, such as bids for replacement of unit 5 and 6 turbine condenser tubes, equipment supply, supervision of installation, commissioning works, putting into operation and submission of engineering documentation for unit 6 NFME, for supply of equipment and providing technical assistance during implementation of activities on NPP Kozloduy steam generator tube plugs, determination of safety critical functions and degree of their degradation for units 5 and 6 within the consortium with the Bulgarian organizations.
3. Construction of a new NPP
JSC Atomstroyexport sent to Bulgaria a questionnaire drafted by the Ministry of Energy of Bulgaria and filled in by design institutions (AEP) in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg as well as other probable Russian subcontractors to obtain preliminary information for elaboration of feasibility study.
On February 24, 2003 Kozloduy NPP sent to JSC Atomstroyexport the invitations to participate in design of radioactive waste storage facility and development of RW control system at NPP.
In March 2003 JSC Atomstroyexport submitted to Kozloduy NPP technical offers relating to these issues.
In November 2002 Kozloduy NPP invited the bid for construction of Spent Nuclear Fuel Dry Storage Facility of Kozloduy NPP.
JSC Atomstroyexport has become a leader of the International Consortium established by the Russian and Bulgarian companies to participate in the Bid.
