Press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” is the winner of “Silver Archer” Prize.
In 2008 the press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” was awarded the National Prize Diploma in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” in category “The Best Project” for the project “PR-supporting the construction of Tianwan NPP”.
The National Prize in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” was founded on June 25, 1997 by the Russian Association of Public Relations, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Journalists’ Union. The prize “Silver Archer” is recognized as the most prestigious prize in the sphere of public relations development in Russia.

On November 17th-18th, 2008 the Third European Summit was held in Sofia. Within the framework of the Summit a discussion on the subject of nuclear power engineering revival took place, and the characteristics of new generation nuclear power plants, including Belene NPP under construction in Bulgaria, were discussed.

The head of Rosatom, Sergey Kirienko, visited Kudankulam NPP site on November, 19th, 2008 constructed under the Russian design in Tamil Nadu state in the south of India.

As part of the joint exposition of the Rosatom State Corporation Atomstroyexport CJSC took part in the Russian National Exhibition in Sofia, which was held on October 8-13, 2008. The exhibition has become the highlight of the Year of Russia in Bulgaria.

A State Acceptance Commission chaired by Deputy Emergency Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Kholosha has completed its work done under the Shelter building structures stabilization project. The respective act of acceptance was signed on November 6, 2008

November 5, 2008, final negotiations between the management of Atomstroyexport JSC and the National Electric Company of the Bulgarian Republic (NEC) on production, financing and supplies of long-cycle equipment, including reactor vessels, steam generator, turbine and generator were held in Sofia. The negotiations resulted in subscription of Addendum 5 to the Agreement on Belene NPP (November 29, 2006), according to which Atomstroyexport undertakes obligations to produce and deliver this equipment.

Atomstroyexport JSC presented its exposition at the International exhibition Elecon&Automation Fair’08 dedicated to power engineering and electrification of Turkey and prospects of its development. The exhibition is held in Ankara from October 30th to November 3rd, 2008.
