Press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” is the winner of “Silver Archer” Prize.
In 2008 the press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” was awarded the National Prize Diploma in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” in category “The Best Project” for the project “PR-supporting the construction of Tianwan NPP”.
The National Prize in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” was founded on June 25, 1997 by the Russian Association of Public Relations, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Journalists’ Union. The prize “Silver Archer” is recognized as the most prestigious prize in the sphere of public relations development in Russia.

The State Commission has signed the Act of Acceptance of the work done under the Shelter stabilization project (Chernobyl NPP)
A State Acceptance Commission chaired by Deputy Emergency Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Kholosha has completed its work done under the Shelter building structures stabilization project. The respective act of acceptance was signed on November 6, 2008.
After the signing ceremony, Emergency Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Shandra presented the Head of Representation of Atomstroyexport CJSC Vitaly Dragunov with a badge of honour of the Emergency Ministry of Ukraine. The Russian citizen is awarded the badge for “high professionalism and outstanding personal contribution to the stabilization of the Shelter facility of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.” The minister also granted certificates to employees of contractor organizations.
As the leader of Stabilization consortium, Atomstroyexport, jointly with the Ukrainian organizations, has implemented two contracts at the Shelter facility. Late in 2006 it completed a contract for stabilization of the facility and in August 2008 a contract for enhancement of safety of the Shelter facility including light repair of its roof. Both contracts were made in the framework of the Shelter Implementation Plan, financed by Chernobyl Shelter Fund. EBRD is the Fund administrator.
The heads of the Project Management Group and foreign observes have many times pointed out the high professionalism, with which Atomstroyexport performed works at the site. But the key achievement of the company is that even the most dangerous operations have been carried out with no risk for the health of the personnel. Safety of personnel was given top priority throughout the project and a whole complex of specially developed measures and rules strictly followed at the facility ensured that. |
