Press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” is the winner of “Silver Archer” Prize.

In 2008 the press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” was awarded the National Prize Diploma in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” in category “The Best Project” for the project “PR-supporting the construction of Tianwan NPP”.   

The National Prize in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” was founded on June 25, 1997 by the Russian Association of Public Relations, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Journalists’ Union.  The prize “Silver Archer” is recognized as the most prestigious prize in the sphere of public relations development in Russia.

The Czech-Russian Consortium Skoda JS a.s., Atomstroyexport JSC and EDO GIDROPRESS OJSC submitted to CEZ qualification documents for the project of completion of Temelin NPP Units 3 and 4.

“Atomstroyexport” JSC (ASE JSC) is going on to fulfill its contractual obligations under “Belene” NPP construction project. The project is being implemented according to the agreed schedule and within the approved scope. The amendments of the project financial structure have not led at the present moment to revision of its contractual obligations by the company.

The State Corporation Rosatom and the Chinese Nuclear Industry Corporation (CNIC) signed the Protocol by which they confirmed their wish and intention to continue cooperation in construction of the second phase of Tianwan NPP, i.e. Units 3&4. With this purpose the sides have agreed to set up a joint task force, which should agree upon the cost of Tianwan NPP expansion. It is planned, that Atomstroyexport Joint-Stock Company will implement the project.

In Beijing in the course of the visit to PRC of the Prime –Minister of the Russian Federation Mr.Vladimir Putin there was signed a contract on carrying out of preproject works on construction in China of two units of the nuclear power plant with fast neutron reactor plants (BN-800). The contract was concluded between “Atomstroyexport” JSC (ASE JSC) and China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) jointly with China Nuclear Energy Industry Company (CNEIC).

On October 16, 2009 Atomstroyexport Joint-Stock Company (ASE JSC) and Joint-Stock Company “Third Generating Company of Electric Power Wholesale Market” (OGK-3 JSC) signed the contract based on the EPC model for construction of Yuzhnouralsk GRES-2 power complex. The contract was signed by Vladimir Vasilievich Kolmogorov, the Director General of OGK-3 JSC, and Alexander Anatolievich Gluhov, the First Vice-president of Atomstroyexport Joint-Stock Company.

On the 9th of October in the town Ostrovets (Belorussia) there were held the public consultations on the evaluation of the environmental impact of the Belorussian nuclear power plant planned for construction. All interested persons, in particular, Grodno Region population, representatives of the public, ecological organizations and mass media became the participants of the public discussions. For the attention of the public there was presented the complete information on the Belorussian NPP construction project, evaluation results of the NPP construction and operation activities impact on the environment and agro-ecosystems in the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

In the beginning of October the 47th ship consignment of equipment for NPP “Kudankulam” (India) was dispatched from the commercial seaport in Saint Petersburg. One of the completion phases of equipment supplies under the obligations of JSC “Atomstroyexport” (JSC ASE) has been executed. The approximate number of 6500 cubic meters of equipment for the Indian NPP including about 900 km of control and power cable, up to 400 tones of pipes and 2800 units of valves, testing and control equipment, transport lock for Unit 2 and other were loaded on board of “Camogli Star”.
