Atomstroyexport participates in two tenders in Jordan
Atomstroyexport participates concurrently in two tenders in Jordan on consulting services for selection and substantiation of the site for the NPP construction and on construction of the nuclear research and training center for creation of the infrastructure providing development of the national nuclear field.
Submission of tender bids to the Nuclear Power Commission of Jordan took place in the city of Amman on April 15, 2009 in accordance with set terms and requirements for the tender documentation.
The Jordan side had defined independently the most deserved companies which were invited to participate in the tenders. That fact that Atomstroyexport received invitations to participate in both tenders is the evidence of Jordan high confidence to the Russian nuclear power technologies and great respect to the Russian company.
Atomstroyexport in its turn is ready to render assistance to the country, with which Russia maintains close friendly relationships, in the development of the nuclear power engineering using a wealth of experience and advanced achievements of the Russian nuclear power engineering field.

The Jordan side expressed its interest in cooperation with Russia in the sphere of nuclear power engineering during the visit of the President of the Russian Federation to Jordan in February 2007. The Intergovernmental Russian-Jordan Agreement on cooperation in the field of peaceful use of the nuclear power was initialed in February 2009.
Jordan shows its interest in Russian nuclear technologies including the NPP design with VVER reactor and construction of the nuclear research center.
