In 2008 the press-service of CJSC Atomstroyexport was awarded the National Prize Diploma in the sphere of public relations development Silver Archer in category The Best Project for the project PR-supporting the construction of Tianwan NPP.
The National Prize in the sphere of public relations development Silver Archer was founded on June 25, 1997 by the Russian Association of Public Relations, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Journalists’ Union. The prize Silver Archer is recognized as the most prestigious prize in the sphere of public relations development in Russia.

At the meeting of Prime Ministers of Russia and Turkey the documents determining further cooperation between two countries in the sphere of nuclear-power engineering have been signed
On the 6-th of August, 2009 in Ankara (Turkey) in the framework of the visit of Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin, the documents determining the partnership in the sphere of nuclear energy technologies between the governments of two countries have been signed: Agreement on cooperation in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy, Agreement on on-line notification of the nuclear accident and the exchange of information concerning nuclear facilities.
The discussion of the prospects of the first Turkish nuclear power project by efforts of the Russian-Turkish Consortium, the composition of which includes JSC Atomstroyexport (JSC ASE), Inter RAO UES and Turkish Company Park Teknik, has become one of the key aspects of the intergovernmental negotiations.
According to the speech of Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin, the triumph of the Russian-Turkish Consortium in the tender for the first Turkish nuclear power erection would open multifold possibilities for our countries. It is evident that both parties are concerned with the project, intend to coordinate the details and proceed to the construction.
In the framework of the meeting the protocol between the government of the Republic of Turkey and the government of the Russian Federation on the cooperation in the sphere of nuclear-power engineering has been also signed, within the scope of which the careful work for the analysis of the requirements represented by the Turkish party, including the possibility of participation of the Turkish state in the equity of the NNP under construction, will be carried out, - declared Timur Ivanov, the First Vice-President of JSC ASE. At present our joint task is to think over maximally the details of the joint implementation of the project in case of the Consortium triumph. Currently the tender has not been completed, the work is carrying on.
Reference. 14 world leading companies have bidden for the tender for the first nuclear power project in Turkey being held from the end of September, 2008. On the 19-th of June, 2009 the Council of Ministers of Turkey approved the tender bid for the erection of the first national NPP in Turkey received from the Russian-Turkey Consortium, the composition of which includes JSC Atomstroyexport (JSC ASE), Inter RAO UES and Turkish Company Park Teknik. The Russian-Turkish Consortium has happened to be the only participant submitted the complete package of the required documents in due time. The first national NPP in Turkey is planned to be erected near Mediterranean port Mersin (Akkuyu region). The offer of the Consortium includes the erection of four PWR reactors with the power of per 120 MW each under Russian design NPP-2006 with their commissioning in 2016-2019.
