Press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” is the winner of “Silver Archer” Prize.

In 2008 the press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” was awarded the National Prize Diploma in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” in category “The Best Project” for the project “PR-supporting the construction of Tianwan NPP”.   

The National Prize in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” was founded on June 25, 1997 by the Russian Association of Public Relations, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Journalists’ Union.  The prize “Silver Archer” is recognized as the most prestigious prize in the sphere of public relations development in Russia.

Atomstroyexport JSC signed the agreement for preparation of the justification of investment in construction of the first Belarusian NPP

The agreement for elaboration of the justification of investment (JI) in NPP construction in the Republic of Belarus has been signed in Minsk between Atomstroyexport JSC (ASE JSC) and Design Scientific Research Republican Unitary Enterprise Belnipienergoprom (RUE Belnipienergoprom). The document was prepared within the framework of implementation of the Plan of joint work of the Russian and Belarusian Parties on realization of the top-priority measures for the project of NPP construction in the Republic of Belarus for the year 2009. Thus, one more step has been taken in the course of preparation for construction of the first Belarusian NPP.

According to the conditions of the concluded agreement Atomstroyexport JSC shall render Belarusian partners the necessary assistance within the agreed scope as to elaboration of the justification of investment. The work is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2009.

Interdepartmental approval of the draft Agreement on cooperation in NPP construction in Belarus between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus is currently in progress in Russia and Belarus. The approval procedure is close to completion, signing of the Intergovernmental Agreement is scheduled in October. The work on preparation of the contractual agreement for NPP construction is in progress. It is scheduled for signing in December 2009. The current issues of cooperation between Russian and Belarusian companies are settled efficiently in the course of negotiations and work contacts.

The first nuclear power plant in the Republic of Belarus shall be constructed under AES-2006 Russian design of JSC SPb Atomenergoproject on the basis of AES-91 design that meets all state-of-the-art international requirements and safety standards. Atomstroyexport JSC (ASE JSC) shall act as the General Contractor of construction. NPP being designed is of 2400 MW capacity (2 for 1200), first power unit commissioning is scheduled in 2016, second power unit is to be commissioned in 2018. Ostrovetskaya Site in Grodno region has been selected for the power plant location. Atomstroyexport JSC shall implement NPP construction on the conditions of the general contractor full responsibility – “turnkey”.
