Press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” is the winner of “Silver Archer” Prize.

In 2008 the press-service of CJSC “Atomstroyexport” was awarded the National Prize Diploma in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” in category “The Best Project” for the project “PR-supporting the construction of Tianwan NPP”.   

The National Prize in the sphere of public relations development “Silver Archer” was founded on June 25, 1997 by the Russian Association of Public Relations, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Journalists’ Union.  The prize “Silver Archer” is recognized as the most prestigious prize in the sphere of public relations development in Russia.

Press release of JSC Atomstroyexport controlled by State Nuclear Energy Corporation “Rosatom”

Atomstroyexport has taken part in exhibition and conference “POWER-GEN India & Central Asia-2010”

JSC Atomstroyexport (JSC ASE) controlled by State Corporation “Rosatom” took part in International exhibition and conference “POWER-GEN India & Central Asia-2010”. The event took place in Mumbai (Republic of India) and was organized with the support of Ministry of Energy and Ministry of new and renewable energy sources of India.

The exhibition “POWER-GEN India & Central Asia-2010” presented about 300 companies from India, Russia, Ukraine, USA, Italy, Great Britain, Switzerland, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, China, Czech Republic, Singapore, South Korea and Japan. JSC Atomstroyexport, which constructs NPP Kudankulam in India, took part in the exhibition as a member of co-joint exposition of State Corporation “Rosatom”.

The exhibition was opened by Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde, the Minister of energy of India. He noted that under the conditions of accelerating national industrial growth energy issues are becoming more and more popular. In such conditions the country is interested in extensive international cooperation in the field of energy. Mr. Shinde’s report confirmed India striving for continuous development of energy in the nearest 20 years, as well as the development of different types of green power and expanding of international cooperation in the field of atomic power.

The stand of JSC Atomstroyexport was visited by the representatives of Atomic Energy Department of India and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited. Managers and specialists of foreign companies who were interested in projects implemented by JSC Atomstroyexport, opportunities of cooperation in NPP construction in India and other countries as well as advantages of Russian NPP projects gave much attention to the Russian exposition.

Participation in International exhibition “POWER-GEN India & Central Asia” allowed expanding international contacts of JSC Atomstroyexport, which is one of the largest companies in the world constructing atomic power plants abroad. The Company has demonstrated the successful experience of two-sided cooperation in construction of the first stage of NPP Kudankulam, the program of its expansion up to 4 units as well as plans of NPP construction at another site in India.

Reference. On the basis of Intergovernmental Agreement JSC Atomstroyexport (JSC ASE) is implementing the works on the first stage construction of NPP Kudankulam in India. Scope of JSC ASE obligations under the signed contracts includes: elaboration of detail design and working documentation, field supervision, equipment and materials supply from Russia and third countries, technical support during NPP assembling/erection/installation and putting in operation, operation and maintenance personnel training in Russia. The Customer – Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited – is in charge of construction, erection and commissioning works at NPP site as well as putting the plant in operation.

On 12 March 2010 within the frames of Premier-minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to India a number of significant cooperation documents in the field of atomic energy industry was signed. In particular, intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of peaceful uses of atomic energy, “road map” of serial construction of the atomic plants under Russian projects in India. Memorandum of understanding in cooperation extension during new units construction at NPP Kudankulam was also signed. Besides, the contract on performing the design works of high priority for construction of unit 3 & 4 of NPP Kudankulam was concluded.

State Nuclear Energy Corporation “Rosatom” (State Corporation “Rosatom”) unites more than 270 enterprises and scientific organizations including all civil companies of the Russian atomic industry, enterprises of nuclear arms complex and the only atomic ice-breaker fleet in the world.
